Ultra-Cut II^™ is a Premium, Reusable, General Purpose Stencil Material. 8.5 mil, semi-rigid coated polyethylene bonded to our "Hold-It" light tack removable adhesive.  Produces excellent stencil quality and re-usability in almost any application. Impervious to inks, paints or stains, Ultra-Cut II^™ out lasts and out performs traditional stencil material while being safe, recyclable and non-toxic.  Provided in 100' rolls ranging from 6" to 30" wide for all BREN cutters.

SSB-Cut^™ is a synthetic Stencil Board developed to give a modern replacement for oil-soaked card stock. A 10 mil. coated semi-rigid plastic cleverly attached to a "Hold-It" backing. SSB can be easily cut with a BREN system, then removed from the adhesive backing to leave a reusable stencil board with properties far exceeding traditional material.  6" to 30" wide by 100' in convenient rolls.

Clear-Cut B is a Heavy Clear Polyester (MYLAR) attached to our unique adhesive backing which allows Computer Cut Stencils which remove adhesive-free, can be cleaned with most solvents and retained for long periods of time.  Very effective for "LOGO STENCILS" and stencils which are used constantly.  Available as CCB5 (5 mil.) or CCB7 (7 mil.) in rolls 7.5", 15" and 30" wide by 50' or 100' length.

Poly-Cut,^™Poly-CutSC^™ is designed to provide Small Character Stencils (down to .060") for Grit or Ink marking and can be used for High Temperature Paint Masking (450°F+). A Premium 3 mil Matte Coat Polyester with "Hold-It" ultra-removable/repositionable adhesive gives Poly-Cut^™ remarkable strength-to-weight properties and High Structural Integrity allowing for extremely small cuts with incredible accuracy.  Provided in 50' and 100' rolls Poly-Cut SC is a BREN exclusive. 

VMASK^™ is a High Conformability Stencil and Masking Material. Constructed of 3.2 mill Matte Surface Calendered Vinyl and bonded with "Hold-It" ultra-removable/repositionable adhesive, VMASK^™ is a Stencil and Masking material capable of conforming to surface irregularities such as rivets or sharp turns in parts requiring masking.  Excellent Glass Etching and Air Brush Masking Material.  6" to 30" x 100' rolls.

Mag-Cut^™ is one of our Specialty Materials . The 0.015" Magnetic Vinyl is provided on our unique adhesive backing. Designed to Cut in our electronic cutters, Mag-Cut^™makes a unique Stencil which will "Hold itself" to ferrous metal surface.  Also available is 0.030" Mag-Vinyl (No Backing) for making Magnetic Signs.

SandBlast is a thick (up to 0.045"), soft Rubber or PVC layer with strong high-tack adhesive on a carrier specially designed for computer control cutting. Sandblast is formulated to produce Stencils for use in Sand Blast Marking operations for Metal, Stone and Clay or deep marking in Wood and Foamboards or for carving in Glass.  Available up to 48" wide.

BREN Inc. Sign Materials

Pro-Color^™ Vinyl Sign Material is a 3.2 mil Calendered Vinyl with permanent adhesive. This material has a 5 to 6 year outdoor rating and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to +180°F. Good Chemical and Solvent resistance, easy weeding and available in 26 colors and a wide range of widths and roll lengths.

Ultra-Color^™ Cast Vinyl is a 2 mil High Performance, High Gloss cast material with permanent adhesive. Ultra-Color^™ has a 7 to 8 year outdoor rating with a -50°F to +185°F temperature range and good resistance to petroleum bases, most solvents, alkalis and salt. Developed for Fleet Graphics, long-term Traffic and exterior signage, Ultra-Color^™ is a true high performance available in many colors and finsih treatment including Translucent, Fluorescent, Metallic, Radiance, Lustre, Marble, Shadow, Matte and more.

Reflective Sign Vinyls provided by BREN are manufactured by the premier producers such as 3M and NCI with many years experience in providing high quality reflective materials from Engineering Grade Type I, Super Engineering Grade Type II, High Intensity Type III and Diamond Grade Prismatic Polycarbonates. We Stock all MUTCD Traffic colors meeting Federal Specs., in a wide range of roll widths from 6" to 60".

Specialty Materials for unique applications are also available. Stencil, Masking, Sign and Decal Materials Guide

Ultra-Cut IITM -
Economical, Reusable, General Purpose Stencil Material. Clay coated polyethylene bonded to our ultra-removable/repositionable, light tack adhesive and applied to a heavy backing. This 8.5 mil, semi-rigid plastic conforms easily to curved or irregular surfaces, lightly holds itself in place and is impervious to inks, paints or stains. Ultra-Cut Stencils easily outlast traditional stencil board by many times. The surface coating prevents runs and smears common with most plastic stencils while the adhesive contact produces extremely high quality stencil images. Fully recyclable, safe and non-toxic.

Poly-Cut^™ and Poly-Cut SC^™
A Polyester (MYLAR^® type) material developed to produce extremely small character stencils (down to 1/16" (1.6mm) and for Paint Masking including Powder Coating. Made of Matte Polyester 0.003" thick with our special adhesive and a heavy backing. Due to the high strength-to-weight properties of polyester, Poly-Cut can support accurate cuts of extremely fine detail, thus allowing Small Character Stencils or Designs which cannot be produced in any other material. Excellent for Grit and Acid Etching, small detail marking of all types and able to withstand temperatures up to 500°F, Poly-Cut makes a superior Paint Masking that holds tightly yet releases cleanly.

Clear-Cut^™ 5B and Clear-Cut^™7B
Strong, Clear 5mil or 7mil. Polyester which is attached to our special adhesive backing and provided on rolls. After cutting, Clear-Cut removes from the backing adhesive-free. Clear-Cut can be used to produce heavy-duty stencils which can be cleaned and reused many times.  MYLAR® type Solvent resistant.

Sand Blast
A thick (up to 0.047"), soft PVC or Rubber layer with a powerful high tack adhesive on a strong carrier, specially designed for computer control cutting. SandBlast Stencil Material is specifically formulated to make stencils for use in the sand blast and grit marking of Iron, Stone and Clay or Concrete and can be cut "Mirror Image" for IN-MOLD relief applications.

VMASK^™
A highly conformable Stencil and Masking material constructed of 3.2 mil Matte Surface calendered vinyl with our Ultra-removable/repositionable adhesive on a heavy paper liner. VMASK produces Stencils and Masks which can conform to sharp changes in surface contour such as the rivets on the skin of an aircraft or in the cracks formed by sharp metal turns. Unique to VMASK is the ability to take finely detailed cuts, remove easily from the liner and be applied and removed to the marking surface over and over. VMASK can be used for stenciling without pre-mask or transfer tape but accepts tape where required for true Paint Masking. VMASK can handle temperatures in excess of 350°F.

Mag-Cut^™
A unique combination of Magnetic Vinyl and our special adhesive bonded to a heavy weight backing. The adhesive holds the magnetic vinyl in place while the cuts are made, when cutting is finished the stencil is peeled off the backing leaving the waste and adhesive on the backing and providing a clean, adhesive-free magnetic stencil for ferrous metal surfaces. A good reusable stencil material for Railcars, Transformers, Drums and large Steel Containers. (We also offer Magnetic Vinyl without backing for Signs.)

SSB-Cut^™
Synthetic Stencil Board was developed to give a replacement for oiled board used for stencil marking. SSB is a semi-rigid coated plastic which is provided 0.010" thick, cleverly attached to our adhesive backing and ready for cutting. SSB can be easily and cleanly cut with a BREN cutting system, then removed from the adhesive carrier to leave a reusable, stencil with properties far exceeding that of oiled stencil board. Completely impervious to the absorption of liquids, surface coated to prevent runs, structurally very strong, safe, non-toxic and unlike the old product, non-hazardous. A remarkable advancement for a proven marking technique from BREN.

Pro-Color^™ Vinyl
Our Intermediate Marking Film for Signs, Lettering, Graphics and Decals. Constructed of 3.2 mil, Calendered Vinyl which has a semi-gloss surface, high performance permanent adhesive on a strong paper liner and provided in Rolls to fit all BREN systems. Pro-Color Vinyl provides an excellent combination of durability and attractive appearance in a multi-purpose sign vinyl. Offering a 5 to 6 year exterior durability with superior cutting and weeding properties, Pro-Color is the material of choice for many Sign, Lettering and Decal applications. Available in 26 standard colors including the most common industrial colors, Pro-Color is an excellent choice for Equipment Marking, Tooling and Jig Identification, Transportation and Intermodal Marking, In-Plant Signs and Identification. Pro-Color Vinyl can be used in BREN Color-Pro Printers for Labels and Decals. Provided in both Rolls and Sheets to fit all BREN cutters and printers.

Ultra-Color^™ High Performance Vinyl
The top-of-the-line choice for long duration and extreme applications. Constructed of 2 mil. Cast Vinyl with a High-Gloss surface finish, very strong permanent adhesive and applied to a strong carrier, this vinyl will meet or exceed all State and Federal Requirements. Meeting the needs where Strong Adhesion, Long Duration, High Conformability and Attractive Appearance are required, our Ultra-Color Vinyl is the Ultimate Performer. Available in more than 50 colors, Ultra-Color Vinyl is used for the exterior markings on high performance Aircraft, Railcars, Ships, Heavy Machinery, Traffic Signs and anywhere 7 to 8 year outdoor durability with supreme conformability is required. Printable Polyester
A 2 mil Top-Coated Premium Label Stock for use in BREN Color Printing Cutters. Makes the strongest and most durable labels for demanding applications such as Model No. / Serial No. rating plates, Dial and Gauge Plats, Keyboard and Switchpads. Available in Gloss White, Clear, Gloss Metalized and Matte Silver Metalized.  Also available with 467MP adhesive.

Label Stock
Meets UL^® and CSA^® requirements to allow BREN Color Printing Cutters to produce specialty Labels for Mil-Spec. and other applications. A variety of paper, film and synthetic paper materials are available.

Overlaminates
Available in Vinyl and Polyester, Clean and Matte in 1 and 2 mil. with permanent clear adhesives for protecting labels and decals. Can be cut to shape and size in a BREN cutter to create exact size matches for laminating decals and labels.

Reflective Vinyl
Available from BREN in the complete range of grades from Engineering through Diamond. All our Reflective Vinyls and Polycarbonates are designed to work with our Cutting and Printing equipment. Our Reflective materials meet or exceed all Local, State and Federal Standards and Requirements and offer up to 10 year outdoor durability.

Engineering Grade (EG)
An enclosed lens retroreflective sheeting conforming to all requirements of ASTM D 4956, Type I sheeting. Ideal for permanent or temporary Traffic Control Devices and other types of Safety Applications requiring high visibility, legibility and durability. Available in various roll sizes and offering 7-10 year performance life.

Super Engineering Grade (SEG)
A Premium grade enclosed lens retroreflective sheeting conforming to all requirements of ASTM D 4956, Type II sheeting. Ideal for Permanent Traffic Control Device applications, SEG offers the lowest life cycle cost of any retroreflective sheeting. Warranted to retain 50% of the "minimum initial reflectivity requirements" for Type II sheeting for 10 years.

Ultra-Grade
(High Intensity) is an encapsulated lens retroreflective sheeting meeting all requirements of ASTM D 4956, Type III sheeting. For use on permanent Traffic Control Devices, UG is warranted to retain 80% of the "minimum initial reflectivity requirements" for Type III sheeting for 10 years.

Electronic Cuttable Film (ECF)
An advanced colored transparent film designed to be applied over retroreflective sheeting to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to inks and to eliminate the cutting of individual characters from the higher grade materials to drastically increase the performance life when mounted vertically. ECF is easily processed by all BREN cutters with no loss of performance and at a much lower cost.

Graffiti Film
A Premium overlay film designed to protect cost permanent signs from the effects of vandals. The non-stick surface offers up to 10 years of outdoor durability while allowing the easy removal of most types of stickers and decals. Resistant to most strong solvents, Graffiti Film can be cleaned with most solvent based paint strippers without adverse affect.

Transfer Tape
Or pre-mask as it it sometimes called, is available as Latex-impregnated opaque or Clear Poly with acrylic adhesive and self-wound on rolls in various widths and lengths. Use tape to move Lettering, Signs and Graphics from the backing after cutting to the final surface where it is applied and the tape removed.

Application Fluid
For surface cleaning and preparation, to allow vinyl to be repositioned and to be applied bubble and wrinkle free. Available in Spray Quarts and Gallon refills.
